The Easiest No-Bake Recipe for Protein Oat Bars…on Carolina A.M.

Audra found an easy no-bake recipe for protein oat bars! If they can make it, anyone can.

Oatmeal offers a host of health benefits and can be a great go-to food for breakfast versus cereals and breads with added sugar.   Audra found a recipe for an easy oat bar with added protein.  You only need a few ingredients and no baking!

Protein Oat Bars

1/2 cup honey (or brown rice syrup)
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup protein powder
1/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cups nut butter

-You can add flax, hemp and chia seeds for an added omega benefit.  Audra also sprinkled some cinnamon into the plant protein mix before adding to the oats.

Mix and press a glass dish.  Freeze for an hour then cut into squares.
