Death Toll Continues to Rise After Flooding in Kentucky

The death toll in the Kentucky floods continues to rise. At least 30 people have been pronounced dead as rescuers continue to search for missing people and that number is expected to grow according to Governor Andy Beshear. The flooding that began on Thursday destroyed roadways, homes and trapped many people who were unable to evacuate. More rainfall is expected in the region and officials are sending out ‘warnings’ as a flood watch was in effect through at least this morning for parts of southern and eastern Kentucky.
