One Person Dead After Wreck in Socastee

One person was killed yesterday in Socastee after a vehicle traveling north on Highway 707 crossed the center line, ran off the road into a ditch and hit a culvert pipe. The driver was taken to a hospital where they died, their name has not been released. The South Carolina Department of Public Safety is investigating.
