South Carolina, National Gas Prices Decline

Gas prices have once again declined in the state and the nation. According to data from GasBuddy, the average cost of a gallon of gas in South Carolina dropped by 14.6 cents landing at $3.99 a gallon. The national average also dropped by 15.8 cents bringing it to about $4.51 a gallon. Prices in the Palmetto State are now 51.8 cents per gallon cheaper than they were in mid-June but are still $1.13 per gallon more expensive than they were at this time last year.
