Man’s Charges Updated in Myrtle Beach Shooting After Victim Dies

An update on a shooting in Myrtle Beach we told you about last week… the victim has been pronounced dead. According to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden, 40 year old Joshua Wilson of Parkersburg, West Virginia died Sunday morning after sustaining gunshot wounds from a shooting on July 6th near 4th Avenue North and Broadway Street. Wilson was found in a crashed car in the area of 8th Avenue North after he was able to drive away from the initial scene. 35 year old Quentin Jean of Myrtle Beach will have his charge upgraded from attempted murder to murder, he is also being charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Myrtle Beach Police are investigating the shooting.
