Migrants Found Dead in Tractor-Trailer in Texas
50 migrants are believed to have died after they and others were found in a semi-truck in San Antonio. All of the deceased are believed to be migrants from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. Authorities were alerted to the scene around 6 p.m. last night when an employee in a nearby building heard a cry for help. That worker found the trailer with doors partially opened and saw deceased people inside. 48 people died on the scene and two died at nearby hospitals. 16 people were taken alive and conscious to medical facilities. The incident is one of the most deadly in recent years for migrants at the border. Three people are currently in police custody though their connection is unknown at this time.
