‘Doc’ Antle Granted Bond, Set to Be Released From Jail Today

Myrtle Beach Safari owner ‘Doc’ Antle is expected to be released from jail today after a federal magistrate granted a $250,000 bond. Antle is facing multiple charges including federal money laundering charges among others. He will be subject to location monitoring with his movements limited to the Myrtle Beach Safari. Antle’s son will act as custodian and will be responsible for making sure he makes his scheduled court appearances and follows other conditions of the bond. Antle also faces animal trafficking charges in Virginia and was recently sued by a woman claiming his monkey escaped the zoo and bit her inside her home.
