You probably should change your toothbrush if you’ve been sick.  Viruses shed from the body and particles in your mouth are picked up by your toothbrush.  Play it safe by getting a new toothbrush once you have recovered.   If you share toothpaste, consider getting your own as you could be transmitting from one toothbrush to another.  You should also change your brush if the bristles are pushing out to the side.  A good rule of thumb is to make the switch about every 3 months.
