Who Sleeps Better…Singles? or Couples?

A team of researchers analyzed one-thousand men and women.

You may think you get a better night’s sleep when you’re alone…but it turns out…there’s benefits to sharing a bed with your partner. According to new research from the University of Arizona, couples who share a bed, sleep better and are less likely to suffer from depression, anxiety, stress and fatigue. The team analyzed one-thousand men and women and found people who never slept with a partner or spouse had a greater chance of suffering from insomnia. Meanwhile, the study also looked at the impact of younger family members and their sleep patterns. Adults who shared a bed with their child most nights, reported higher rates of insomnia, stress, and even a risk of sleep apnea.
