Kristen Wiig and Carol Burnett Team Up for TV Series

It's scheduled to drop this year. 

Kristen Wiig and Carol Burnettt are teaming up for an Apple TV+ comedy series. ‘Mrs. American Pie’ is a 10-episode series based on the 1970s novel of the same name. This is a big return for Burnett, she hasn’t been a series regular since ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ went off air in 1978. Laura Dern will also star in the show as well as do some directing. It’s scheduled to drop this year.
