Gun Violence on the Rise as Multiple Shootings Break Out Across the Country

Gun violence rang out across the country over the weekend. Three people were killed and at least 14 others were wounded after a shooting at a nightclub in Chattanooga Tennessee early yesterday morning shortly before 2:45 a.m. 14 victims were shot while three others were hit by vehicles attempting to flee the scene. Among the three deaths, two stemmed from gunshot wounds and the other from injuries after the victim was struck by a vehicle.

Three are dead and 11 were injured after a shooting in a crowd in Philadelphia on Saturday. Hundreds were ‘enjoying South Street’ when the shooting broke out. Officers are searching for the shooters and police are urging witnesses to come forward by offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

And here in the Palmetto State, one person is dead and seven others were wounded after a shooting at a graduation party in Clarendon County. At least ’60-70′ rounds were fired after two cars approached the party with one of them driving onto the lawn where about 150 people were gathered Saturday night. The victims’ ages ranged from 12 to 36-years-old.
