FAA Releases Details on North Myrtle Beach Plane Crash

The FAA has released details about a deadly banner plane crash that happened on Saturday in North Myrtle Beach. The Piper PA-12 returned to drop off a banner and climbed out, but ‘nosed over backwards into the ground’ according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The plane was registered to Barnstormers Aerial Advertising LLC and registered to the company on May 28th, 2013. According to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden, 56 year old David Flading died of traumatic injuries from the crash and was the only person on the plane. A preliminary report will be available in a couple of weeks and a full report could take one to two years to complete.
