Funeral Services for School Shooting Victims Begin

Funeral services for the 21 Uvalde Texas elementary school shooting victims began yesterday. Nineteen of the victims will be laid to rest in custom made caskets provided by a Texas company at no cost to their families and two local funeral homes will also be covering all expenses. The community is currently in the midst of recovery after the tragic mass shooting with the city council even postponing it’s meeting to ‘focus on the families who lost loved ones.’ The community is also determining whether to raze the existing Robb Elementary School and build a new one although it’s not clear what will happen at the scene. According to Senator Roland Gutierrez, there is a federal grant process for schools to be razed after a mass shooting.
