Delta Air Lines “Strategically Decreasing” Summer Flights

Ahead of a busy summer season, Delta Air Lines is ‘strategically’ decreasing it’s flights. Yesterday, Delta announced it will cut about 100 flights a day from its summer schedule to ‘minimize disruptions and bounce back faster when challenges occur.’ The airline cited rising demand and the challenges of ‘rebuilding Delta’s full-scale operation’ in it’s announcement. Flights will be cut between July 1st and August 7th and will primarily affect markets in the United States and Latin America. Delta will also continue to adjust it’s schedule in the upcoming weeks.
