When it comes to being proactive with your skin health, wearing sunscreen is one way to do that.  There are a few things to look for according to Skin Cancer.org says to look for a sunscreen with the words broad spectrum.  That means it protects from both UVA and UVB rays.  The SPF number tells how long the it would take you to redden your skin when using the product exactly as directed.   An SPF 30 should take you 30 times longer, and allows 3% of UVB to hit your skin.  An SPF 50 allows 2%.
