A new study says cranberries can play a major role in benefiting your health. Scientists in Great Britain say consuming just a small amount of cranberries a day can not only improve your memory, it can help your brain fight off dementia. The study involved people 50 to 80, who consumed a power equivalent of 100 grams of cranberries a day. The people showed improvements in remembering, had more blood flow to the brain and also showed less bad cholesterol. The study is in “Frontiers of Nutrition.”
