Person of Interest in Brittnee Drexel Case Arrested in Georgetown
A man who was named a person of interest in the disappearance of Brittnee Drexel over a decade ago has been arrested in Georgetown County. 62 year old Raymond Moody was arrested on May 4th and charged with obstructing justice but it’s unclear if the arrest is in connection with the Drexel case. Moody was named a person of interest in that case in 2012 but was never charged in connection to it. It’s unclear if he’s still considered a person of interest in the case. In 2009 Drexel was reported missing on Ocean Boulevard. FBI investigators think she was taken from the Blue Water Inn and held against her will for several days. In 2016 the FBI announced that Drexel was taken from Myrtle Beach to the McClellanville area in Charleston County, where she was held for a few days against her will and killed, her body has yet to be found.
