New Details in Carolina Forest Barricade Situation That Killed One
More details surrounding the barricade situation in Carolina Forest which ended in a man’s death have surfaced. Horry County Police responded to the home hours before the situation in March when someone thought the suspect was going to light the house on fire. Police ended up leaving because they said the suspect hadn’t made any threats to himself or other people and hadn’t committed a crime and they weren’t able to get in contact with him. 43 year old Anthony Lee Rayfield died on March 12th following a barricade situation at the home on Redleaf Rose Drive in the Clear Pond neighborhood of Carolina Forest. His body was found on the second floor of the home after a fire, a cause of death has not been released.
