North Myrtle Beach City Council Holds Budget Workshop
The North Myrtle Beach City Council announced an expansion to the sports complex among other things during a workshop earlier this week. Three major projects will be in the works during the 2023 fiscal year including a Storm-Water Drainage Fund, which includes the construction of an ocean outfall at 18th Avenue North costing approximately $15 million. Also included is initial funding of an EOC & Data Management Center at an estimated cost of $12 million and a Parks and Recreation expansion projected to cost $31 million. Taxes will also remain the same and will not be increased for residents.
