SLED Investigating Officer Involved Shooting in Darlington County

SLED is investigating after a deadly officer involved shooting in Darlington County yesterday afternoon. No officers were injured in the shooting but one person died. The incident occurred near the railroad tracks on Mciver Road and Old Florence Road. The person killed has been identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Turner of Darlington but, authorities have not released details on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
