The Goats Are Back on ‘Goat Island’ in Murrells Inlet!

The famous ‘Goat Island’ goats have returned for the Summer season! The tradition of ‘Goat Island’ at the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk has been going on for nearly 40 years and this year, there are seven living on the island. The goats are released to the area during the Spring through November to help keep underbrush down and spend the warmer months there with fresh food and water daily.
