Music Helps You Work Harder and Longer, Study Finds

Those who listen to music during exercise burn more calories than those who don't.

Don’t forget your headphones, earbuds, Airpods…however you listen to music.  Turns out music is such an important part of exercise that 2 out of 3 will cut their workout short or skip it if they didn’t have them.  There’s good reason.   Studies found it does have the power to improve your workout.  In fact, a study showed those listening to music worked out harder and longer.  Music is a distraction and delays fatigue.   One study even showed that certain tempos increase your heart rate, metabolism, and energy while reducing blood pressure.
