Sea Nymph Motel First of Four Properties to be Demolished in Myrtle Beach

The Sea Nymph Motel has been demolished. It’s the first of four properties that the city bought back in December due to asbestos. The granddaughter of the original owner was at the demolition yesterday and said though she grew up around the motel, she’s ‘anxious to see it become a much cleaner, nicer area.’ There is no set schedule on when the other three demolitions are set to take place but, the ‘Fountainbleu Inn’ is the next property scheduled to be torn down.
