How to Remove Water Stains from Furniture with Toothpaste – Today’s Tip

Did the guests not see the coaster? No worries, we show you how to remove water stains in today's tips on Carolina A.M.

In today’s Thursday’s Tips, use ordinary things in your house in ways you may not have considered.   Use cooking spray to get rid of soap scum!  Spritz that gunk and let it sit for couple of minutes.  The scum will come off with just a swipe of a towel. Then wash the surface as you normally would.  Eliminate grease stains by rubbing some on greasy spots on clothes or table linens.  Let it absorb the oil before you brush it off.  This works for ring-around-the-collar too!  For stubborn stains, rub more chalk into it before washing.  Did you kids or guest forget to use a coaster? To get rid of water stains on your furniture, gently rub some non-gel toothpaste on the wood with a soft cloth. Wipe it off with a damp cloth and let dry.  Clean your silverware with potatoes.  First, boil potatoes, remove from water and save them to eat later.   Then place your silverware in the potato water and let sit for an hour.  Remove and wash.
