Lawn Mower Rider Hit, Killed in Dillon County

The driver of a riding lawn mower was hit and killed by a vehicle yesterday in Dillon County. The wreck happened around 2 p.m. on SC 57 and Meekins Road when the driver of the lawn mower was crossing the road and was hit by a 2011 Dodge Charger. The Dillon County Coroner has not released the name of the deceased yet but an investigation is underway and more details are expected at a later date.
