Labrador Retrievers Named America’s Favorite Dog Breed, Again!
The American Kennel Club names the Labrador Retriever as America's favorite dog breed for the 31st year in a row!
It’s National Puppy Day and the Labrador Retriever isn’t rolling over. The American Kennel Club says it’s America’s favorite dog breed for the 31st year in a row. The organization released its popular breed rankings and no surprise that the lab took the top spot again! It’s a family-friendly pooch known for its outgoing personality and eager-to-please attitude. Other top breeds are the French Bulldog, the Golden Retriever, and the German Shepherd. The poodle also pawed its way into the fifth spot…knocking the bulldog from the top five, for the first time since 2012.
