The pandemic changed a lot about our lives and apparently the way we make friends. many are turning to technology to form them.  We got accustomed to all the zoom meetings.  More than 300 million users participated in in one.  The internet became a way of connection for business and pleasure.  Some that met through virtual events became friends on social media. 18% of south Carolinians made new virtual friends during the pandemic, 15% in NC, 53% in Kansas.   Friend groups are on Facebook. and there are apps now to help you find friends, just as those that help you find love.
