A new version of the Omicron Coronavirus variant is ‘picking up steam’ in the United States and overseas. The ‘BA.2’ variant is being blamed for a recent surge of Covid-19 cases in the U.S., Hong Kong, the U.K. and more around the world. Here in the states as many as 28 million seniors are at risk of becoming ill from the virus because they are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated or haven’t been boosted.
