United States Senate Approves The Sunshine Act, Will Head to the House of Representatives
Yesterday the Senate voted to approve a measure that will make daylight saving time permanent across the United States. The Sunshine Protection Act was passed by unanimous consent and will need to be passed by the House of Representatives before it can be signed by President Biden. If the measure is signed, it will mean no more falling back each year in the fall and will go into effect in November 2023 because the Transportation Industry has already built out schedules on the existing time and asked for additional months to make the adjustment.
