How to Set Up a Home Gym on a Budget
When acquiring all of the things you need you don't have to spend an arm and a leg!
At home workouts have become pretty popular in recent years…especially since they can save you a lot of money on monthly memberships. But, when acquiring all of the things you need you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg! Start with the basics…a foam roller to help you stretch. Depending on the size, you’ll likely spend under $30 and it’ll come in handy for a proper warm up and cool down. Also, invest in kettle bells! But, make sure you have some variety with one that’s a comfortable weight for most exercises and another that will be more challenging. Based on our research a set of three, 5, 10 and 15 pounds will cost you about $60. Resistance bands are another great option for how versatile they are. But, look for good reviews and quality as some are prone to breaking after use. Dumbbells, an exercise ball and if you’ve got really strong abs, an ab rollers are some great extras to purchase that are pretty inexpensive.
