If you've raised kids then you know the effort. Here are 3 tips to help.
If you’ve raised kids then you know the effort it can take to keep your home clean. A home blogger published in the HuffPost says with a little organization and communication, we can save time, frustration and strengthen our families as a team! Start by assessing what needs to be done. Make a list, categorize them by importance and how often the chores need to be done. This helps give everyone a better overview and will help delegate responsibilities. Delegating requires good communication. Let the family know you need help. every can member should play a role, regardless if they want to or not. Let them grumble but don’t let them off the hook. Assign the tasks. younger children should be assigned the simplest such as making beds, emptying the trash and other children can be shown how to do more. Give your partner the remainder. Once you’ve delegated, make the schedule. Spend some time making a well-organized calendar that is clear on the timing of the jobs. Be considerate of each member’s availability like work, school, and activities. You can even set up a specific family cleaning time where you knock out the day’s to dos. Finally, motivate the troops with some type of rewards. Kids like stickers on the calendar. For older ones, an allowance is a good motiviator!
