Woman Charged After Shots Fired at Hotel in Myrtle Beach
A woman has been charged in connection to a shooting that happened at a Myrtle Beach hotel on Wednesday morning. According to a police report, officers were called to the Bar Harbor Hotel located at 100 S. Ocean Boulevard around 3:30 and a witness on the scene pointed out a vehicle that was involved in the incident. Police say 33 year old Dexter Levette was intoxicated inside the car, he was arrested for public intoxication and brought to the Myrtle Beach Jail. 32 year old Stephanie Tran was also intoxicated and had a gun in her purse. Police say Tran and Levette were involved in an altercation which led to shots being fired. Tran does not hold a concealed carry permit in any state and was arrested and charged with public intoxication, discharging a weapon in city limits, unlawful carrying of a pistol, and domestic violence. She is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $81,081 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
