Settlement Reached in Prince Andrew, Virginia Giuffre Lawsuit
According to her lawyer, the Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre lawsuit has been settled. Giuffre’s lawyer David Boles said “the payment was received, the settlement we announced last month has been completed. We are obviously very pleased with the outcome.” In addition to the settlement, a U.S. district judge has also agreed to dismiss the lawsuit against the Prince. Boles did not disclose the amount the parties settled on but after the payment was made, attorneys for both filed a stipulation for the lawsuit to be dismissed with prejudice, meaning Giuffre cannot refile the claim in the same district court. In the suit Giuffre alleged that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked her and forced her to have sex with his friends including Prince Andrew and that Andrew was aware she was underage at the time. He has continued to deny any wrongdoing, even as he and Guiffre reached their out of court settlement last month.
