Major Cities in Ukraine Under Attack By Russian Forces

The war in Ukraine continues… Key cities in Ukraine were attacked by Russian troops from several sides and forces launched strikes on buildings in the center of Kyiv and Kharkiv. Russian troops are battling Ukrainian forces for the control of the city of Kherson. Fighting also continues in Mariupol with residents reporting heavy shelling overnight. President Zelenskyy appealed for more help as a 40 mile Russian convoy of tanks, armored vehicles and towed artillery continued to edge toward Kyiv. According to the United Nations, 136 people including 13 children have been killed during the Russian invasion and another 400 civilians had been injured, though the real death toll could be much higher. According to Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, a Russian delegation will meet with Ukrainian counterparts this afternoon for another round of talks.
