Michelin Attempting to Re-Invent Their Wheels

Officials say airless tires have advantages.

The company is working with General Motors to create airless tires that will come on updated Chevy Bolt electric cars. These vehicles are expected to go on the market within the next few years. Officials say airless tires have advantages, which includes no longer worrying about leaks. But, automakers have been building cars and their internal systems on the premise of air-filled tires, so that could result in necessary adjustments in the process. =
