Woman Arrested,Charged for Taking Out Loans in the Name of an Elderly Person with Dementia
According to officers, a Florence woman is accused of taking out loans in the name of an elderly person with dementia.. 61 year old Lucienne Twomey was arrested on Tuesday and charged with three counts of knowing willful exploitation of a vulnerable adult and one count of forgery. Twomey allegedly took out the loans in the victim’s name between May 18th and June 7th, 2021. She is also accused of selling an elderly victim’s vehicle by forging the victim’s name on the bill of sale. Twomey is being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a $10,000 security bond.
