Body Recovered from Little Pee Dee River

A search for a missing boater was called off yesterday… The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating after the body of the unidentified boater was recovered from the Little Pee Dee River. Horry County Fire Rescue was called to the scene around 11:45 am for reports of an overturned boat near Conway. The boater had been missing since Tuesday. The Horry County Coroner’s Officer will handle identifying the boater.
