Teen Charged in Connection to Shooting in Florence County

A teen has been charged in connection to a shooting in Florence County that took place last week. 17 year old Billy Matthews III was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and discharging a firearm into a dwelling. Matthews allegedly fired multiple times into a home on Pamplico Highway on February 2nd, but fortunately, no one was injured. He is being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
