CDC Adds More Destinations to List of Places Considered to be ‘Very High’ Travel Risk

The CDC has added more destinations to its list of places considered to be ‘very high’ travel risk for Covid-19. In January there were only about 80 destinations but, currently there are 135 places listed at Level 4. Joining the list this week include Japan, Cuba, Israel, Armenia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya and Oman. The CDC places a destination at Level 4 when more than 500 cases per 100,000 residents are registered in the past 28 days and advises travelers to avoid travel to those destinations..
