Ben Roethlisberger Retires from Pittsburgh Steelers

After 18 years with the NFL, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has announced his retirement. The two-time Superbowl Champion from Ohio made his official announcement on his Twitter page saying “the time has come to clean out my locker, hang up my cleats, and continue to be all I can be to my wife and children. I retire from football a truly grateful man.’ Roethlisberger was drafted to the Steelers with the 11th overall pick in 2004 and won offensive rookie of the year. He won two Superbowls in 2005 and 2008 and went to the Pro Bowl six times.
