Convenience Store Robbery Suspects Arrested

Two men wanted by police for allegedly robbing a convenience store in Red Springs on January 9th have been taken into custody. Police say Terry Rice of Pembroke and Gene Fulmer of Maxton robbed the Jiffy Mart located in the 1100 block of West 3rd Avenue. The pair were identified by surveillance video from the scene. Rice was arrested on Friday and Fulmer was arrested on Saturday. They’re both charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping. Both men are being held at the Robeson County Detention Center on $100,000 bonds.
