State of Emergency Declared in South Carolina, Grand Strand Preps for Winter Storm

The State of the State was not the only think Governor McMaster was talking about yesterday… The Governor has declared a State of Emergency for South Carolina. He advised residents to check their local weather forecasts and stay off the roads unless necessary, once the storm begins. Here along the Grand Strand, the city of Conway is operating at OPCON-2. Conway Police and Firefighters will be available throughout the storm and roads in the city will only be salted near stations where public safety teams will be positioned. Most of the schools in our viewing area will be operating online tomorrow and activities have been canceled. Classes at  HCTC and CCU will also be virtual.
