Madea Making a Comeback to Netflix in February

"A Madea Homecoming" streams on Netflix on February 25th.

Tyler Perry is bringing the character out of retirement for that very reason. He says we need more belly laughs. So, even though the writer/director said he was done with playing the part…that was back in 2019…he is reprising his role as Madea in the upcoming “A Madea Homecoming” which streams on Netflix on February 25th.
