Wanted Hartsville Man Arrested at High School Basketball Game
A man wanted for armed robbery was arrested on Tuesday at a Hartsville High School basketball game. Jeremiah Josey was charged with armed robbery and for a parole violation after police say he robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint on January 8th. The driver says he was approached by two males who said they’d called for a ride ‘across the creek’. the two changed their drop off location mid-ride and once they reached their destination both men pulled out guns and demanded money. The driver ended up throwing his wallet into the street and the suspects ran away. Police
spotted Josey in the stands at the game Tuesday night and arrested him on the court.
