Horry County Schools Announces New Covid-19 Guidelines
During a board meeting last night, Horry County Schools announced they’ll be accepting the results of at-home Covid-19 tests and updated other guidelines for students and staff members. The district said school operations would continue as they are but if a location, either an entire school or classroom has problems they will handle them on a case-by-case basis based on information given to administrators. As of yesterday there were a total of 673 positive cases involving 633 students and 40 staff members. There are also 3,800 students in quarantine. For the at home tests, two negative tests taken at least 24 hours apart will be required within seven days of exposure. Individuals must also be symptom free and masks will be required through day 10 of quarantine.
