More Than 60 Million Under Winter Weather Alert in the U.S.

Many states have also declared states of emergencies.

More than 60 million people are under some sort of winter weather alert in the U.S. With a fast-moving winter storm already pummeling parts of Kentucky and Virginia, it’s expected to continue in the northeast today and tomorrow adding 4 and 12 more inches of snow along the way. According to the National Weather Service, the snow fall and low visibility are making it hard for road crews and they advise people to ‘delay travel until the afternoon when the snow ends.’ More than 2,200 flights have been canceled today according to flight aware dot com and more are expected to be canceled or delayed moving through the weekend. Many states have also declared states of emergencies.
