Developer Pulls Rezoning Request on Plans to Build Homes Near Hwy 707
The developer can however bring it forward again in the future.
A developer who was planning to build almost 4,000 homes along Highway 707 in Horry County near St. James High School has pulled their rezoning request. Dozens of residents attended a planning commission meeting yesterday to share their support and disapproval of the planned complex but at the last minute the developer, Thomas & Hutton, removed their request. It is unclear why the withdrawal happened. The developer can however bring it forward again in the future.
