Habitat for Humanity Reveals first 3D Printed Home

A Virginia family received a special Christmas gift this year.

Habitat for Humanity built them a new 3D printed home. The 12-hundred-square-foot concrete house was built in just 12 hours. It has three bedrooms and two full baths. The non-profit partnered with 3-d printing company ‘Alquist’ earlier this year for the project. They say the house’s concrete can withstand natural disasters! This is the first 3D home built for the organizations…but, they’re planning to make more.
