When it comes to spinach, ring out the leaves before sautéing.  Try pre-cooking your eggs before you boil them.  Julie Child would poke the shell with a pin and then dip it in  boiling water for ten seconds.  Instead of choosing between butter or oil for the skillet, use both.  Apparently oil prevents your butter from burning on the pan.  For baking, if your cakes turn out on the dry side, next time wrap a damp cloth around your pan and return it to the oven until the towel dries.  Finally, run your lemons under hot water to get more juice from them!
