CDC Advisers Prefer Moderna, Pfizer over Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 Vaccine

After the meeting, the CDC changed it’s recommendations for Covid-19 vaccines to make it clear that shots made by Moderna and Pfizer are preferred over Johnson and Johnson. Yesterday the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices endorsed the updated recommendation after hearing new data indicating that a rare blood clotting syndrome is more common among people who got the Johnson and Johnson vaccine than previously believed.
